Season 50 Starr Patrol had barely ended when Supercell fired up the biggest collaboration of the year. Season 51 “Brawl Strikers”, launched June 4, 2026, transforms Brawl Stars into a massive football pitch — powered by Adidas and the energy of the FIFA World Cup 2026.

The lineup: a brand-new brawler with a unique mechanic, premium football skins, a brand-new game mode, and the largest balance patch in recent memory touching 40+ brawlers. Here’s everything you need to know.

Table of Contents

Bolt: The 104th Brawler with a Revolutionary Mechanic

Bolt is a toy from the Battle Bumperz line — a little car that has always dreamed of being a real race car. What he lacks in size, he compensates with a completely new mechanic for Brawl Stars: his speed continuously increases while moving, and his damage scales directly with it.

His abilities:

  • Passive Trait: Bolt accelerates as he moves. The more he’s in motion, the more dangerous he becomes.
  • Attack — Battle Bumper: Bolt rolls into enemy brawlers and vents excess heat in an area, dealing double his rolling damage as AoE. The attack also briefly resets some of his speed.
  • Super — Overdrive: Bolt enters overdrive, gaining damage reduction and leaving a damaging trail behind him. Maximum speed and damage.
  • Gadget — Oil Change: Bolt generates a health shield proportional to his current speed.
  • Star Power — Unstoppaball: During his Super, Bolt becomes immune to crowd control and gains an additional 15% speed on top.

In practice, Bolt rewards players who stay in constant motion. An aggressive, mobility-focused brawler who should excel in Brawl Ball — fitting for this football-themed season.

The Adidas × FIFA World Cup 2026 Collab

Supercell and Adidas team up for a full collaboration around the FIFA World Cup 2026, one of the biggest sporting events on the planet.

The standout skins:

  • Refereeple: Spike dressed as a referee — no one argues his red cards.
  • Gridiron Otis: Otis in American football gear, a deliberate clash of codes.
  • Scorekeeper Surge: Surge as an official scorekeeper.
  • Super Ball Gene and Super Ball Carl: The two main Brawl Pass Season 51 skins, with dedicated football animations.

The Adidas Starr Cup event kicks off on June 18, 2026, rewarding the best Super Brawl Ball players. It’s the competitive centerpiece of the season.

Super Brawl Ball: The New Game Mode

Super Brawl Ball drops on June 11, 2026 with two major innovations over classic Brawl Ball:

  1. AI Goalkeepers: Each team gets an AI-controlled goalkeeper who tries to block shots. This adds a tactical layer missing from the original mode — you need to outsmart the AI, not just sprint for the goal.
  2. Charged Shots: Holding the attack button charges a more powerful shot, hard to stop even for an AI keeper. Bolt, with his speed mechanic, should dominate here.

This is clearly the flagship mode of the season, designed to match the World Cup atmosphere perfectly.

June 2026 Balance Changes: 40+ Brawlers Adjusted

The June update is one of the largest balance patches in recent Brawl Stars history: over 40 brawlers receive adjustments, including full reworks for Damian and Ash.

The biggest winners:

BrawlerChange
PiperHealth: 5,000 → 5,600; Max damage at range: 3,400 → 3,600
MandyAttack damage: 2,600 → 2,960; Hard Candy Star Power shield: 40% → 50%
CarlDamage and throw range increased
SproutGrenade range and damage buffed
Starr NovaSignificant buffs to anchor her free Mythic status

The biggest losers:

BrawlerChange
CrowPoison damage reduced
EdgarFisticuffs Star Power: healing 30% → 20%; Hypercharge rate reduced
ChesterCandy Popper Super: 3,760 → 3,200 damage
MortisSpeed and damage slightly reduced

These changes are confirmed by the official Supercell blog and target the meta after several seasons where Edgar and Chester dominated competitive play too heavily.

Season 51 Brawl Pass: Keys, Vault, and Skins

Supercell also introduces a revamped reward system with Keys and the Vault: keys accumulate through gameplay and unlock additional Vault tiers for bonus rewards.

The paid Brawl Pass for Season 51 includes:

  • Super Ball Gene and Super Ball Carl skins with their chromas
  • Gems, Power Points, Credits, and additional cosmetics
  • Season emblems in football/Adidas colours

Season 51 runs until July 3, 2026 — a full month to enjoy the Brawl Strikers content.

What This Means for the Meta

With Bolt as a new mobility-centered brawler and Super Brawl Ball rewarding fast brawlers, Season 51 clearly favors aggressive, mobile playstyles. Slow or zone-control brawlers (Chester, Edgar to a lesser extent) are doubly penalized — by the nerfs AND by the new meta.

Piper and Mandy, freshly buffed, should become the go-to snipers for Season 51. Carl is back in legitimacy after several difficult updates.
